NEW ORLEANS ABORTION FUND
In partnership with the National Network of Abortion Funds, the New Orleans Abortion Fund was established in 2012 as a community-based organization rooted in social justice, with the purpose of challenging socioeconomic inequalities by providing financial help to women who cannot afford the full cost of an abortion. Working with local medical providers, we provide compassionate and empowering assistance to women seeking abortions who are unable to fully fund their abortion, and distribute pledges as available.
While our goal is to work with all area clinics, NOAF is presently able to assist women who have appointments at the Women’s Health Care Center in New Orleans and Delta Clinic in Baton Rouge. To receive financial assistance, call the NOAF hotline at 504-363-1112 and leave a message with your name and phone number. Someone will return your call within 24 hours. En colaboracion con la Red Nacional de Fondos para el Aborto (National Network of Abortion Funds), el Fondo para el Aborto de New Orleans (New Orleans Abortion Fund) se establecio en 2012 como una organizacion comunitaria que tiene raices en la justicia social con el proposito de enfrentar a las inequidades socioeconomicos al proveer ayuda financier a las mujeres que no tienen los medios economicos para cubrir el costo total de un aborto. Trabajando con proveedores de servicios medicos, nosotros ofrecemos ayuda con compasion que empodera a las mujeres en busca de abortos pero quienes no pueden cumplir con los gastos para eso.
Aunque nuestra meta es trabajar con todas las clinicas en la area, NOAF por el momento puede atender a mujeres con citas en Women's Health Care Center in New Orleans and Delta Clinic in Baton Rouge.
